Finally some good news!
How's everyone enjoying their season so far? May is around the corner which means that most cableparks will be open daily. Season is really starting now.. Yea, so why am I so happy? Good question.. Knee-wise things didn't go as well as I expected it to be, but yesterday's visit to the orthopaedic surgeon should be resolving my current knee problem. He gave me a jab in my knee and hopefully this will work then. Since that filmshoot my knee was badly swollen and could do hardly any excercises besides cycling and some strengthening stuff. Very frustrating, because everything seemed to go so well. I guess I did too much, too soon. Now I know better! I can focus totally on recovery again and hope that the second part of the season will be a bit more productive.

Last weekend we had a Dutch team meeting with the teamcaptain, teammanager and coach in Ermerstrand. Very nice cable at the East of our country. We went through some stuff regarding 2009 and after that the guys and girls went out on the water. Was fun to see the expression on the faces of the people at the dock. I bet they never saw people riding like that. Of course, I was not to be found on the water which totally sucked of course. Fortunately the sun was out and that made most of the day up.

Queensday tomorrow. Good occasion to run through some school stuff. I'm graduating in May and there's still a lot of work waiting for me to be taken care of. Can't wait! Will be glad when this whole school stuff is done!!
